Giselle is the kind of personal trainer who after putting her clients through a tough session, will finish off the day doing the exact same session herself! Today we talk to Giselle about training, diet and why she became a personal trainer.

What motivates you go to keep going to the gym?

I am motivated to go the gym everyday because I know I am only getting closer to my goal. Also the gym has a lot of benefits, I feel stronger physically as well as mentally from going to the gym and receive a positive vibe and just that extra energy boost for the rest of my day.

When did you realise you wanted to be part of the fitness industry?

I realised I wanted to be part of the fitness industry when I started getting closer to my goals. I felt amazing and could see how my results were only motivating me more. I wanted others to share this feeling so I became a personal trainer to give others the same uplifting experience.

What does your current weekly training routine look like?

I do a split program, I train different muscle groups on different days with a mixture of compound and isolated exercises. I might do Monday , back and biceps then Tuesday, legs, Wednesday, chest and triceps etc. I train abs 3-4 times a week and try to fit in cardio at least everyday or sometimes every second.

What exercises do you love and hate the most?

I love to train back and also training core is one of my favourite. A strong core is extremely important!

Do you follow a specific diet?

My diet isn't a specific diet I would just call it clean eating. I eat a lot of fresh meats, fish and a large variety of vegetables. I try to include a lot of different vitamins and minerals in my diet from whole, raw, fresh foods! I avoid processed food and don't eat take out, but don't mind going out for a nice, healthy dinner once in a while.

What is your favourite cheat meal?

My ultimate cheat meal is ice-cream! I don't really have a sweet tooth but ice-cream is just simply incredible! I love love it!
